Tis a statue I drew whilst a deluge occurred...The female form is not one's most virtuosic skill, but one is slowly gaining better cognizance of thee aforementioned subject matter.

It was nice to color using my new markers on the more suitable 150lb. paper rather than flimsy sketch paper. What a difference in the layering, I can't wait to get colored markers :)

I wanted to do a pose with a bit of attitude in it. And yes I know her outfit is a little...not modest, but that's not the point of the drawing, gosh! :P

More Manga

Here's another attempt at the Manga style...I started out making this one a male, but when I made the mouth a little too bold it looked like female lips and thus changed the gender completely...so I just went with it :P

More Concept Art!

Here's a cute wittle Tiger I came up with, and the always creepy floating monkey head.

Fallen Angel

I'm always anxious for trying new styles of drawing, and this time around it's Manga! I think I will definitely explore this style a bit more.

Forest Pixie

I really like my little forest pixie, she just might keep popping up in doodles here and there. I did this one while in church last Sunday. It's cool cuz my pen was getting try, but I found that it created an interesting effect. It was like sketching with the pen because I had to go over areas multiple times to get it dark. So I got the darkness of the pen with the layering of a pencil. Click on the image to see it up close :)

The Incredible Hulk

I got some new markers, and I gave them a test drive-I admit my first time was a bit sloppy, but don't even worry about it I am getting better by the second!

A shaggy black tiger

So I've been into harsh lighting for the time being, and I tried it out on a Tiger-I admit they aren't the easiest animal to draw, but I love a good challenge.

The Invincible Iron Man

So I'm really into exploring this style of harsh shadows, and I have to say I'm very much a fan. Anyway, this is my version of Iron Man.

Good Shepherd Illustration

I really like the imagery in this one, it puts a visual perspective on how hard following Christ can be sometimes...but remembering that he suffered and died for us, the least we can do is devote to following Him, no matter how big the waves seem to get.

Greenwood Illustration

This one illustrates how God is always providing us with security.

How to draw Spiderman

Step 1: Start with an epic pose...there's no greater model for your drawings than using yourself. Note the seriousness on my face-this is no laughing matter.
Step 2: Sketch out the drawing using your pose you just captured, you may or may not need to change the muscle structure ;)
Step 3: Ink that bad boy with your handy Micron Pens...Erase pencil lines if needed.
Step 4: Outline and define the shadows, start adding a light base color.
Step 5: The finished product all inked, colored, and ready to go. There you have it ladies and gentlemen. The Amazing Spiderman!

Tree Demon

Tree Demons dwell within the trees...their bodies merge with the trees allowing them to hide extremely well. Their meal of choice is often an unsuspecting forest Pixie who's unfortunate mistake is fatal. The tree demons answer to a higher power but no one has ever seen this greater evil...All that is known is that he has dominion over the Southern end of the forest, where the trees grow the closest and the night is the darkest...

Greenwood Illustration

This is an illustration for Greenwood Christian Church here in Canton, OH...This is the start of my solo career as I will do a design for their bulletin every week :P...This one illustrates 2 Corinthians 1:5...I really love reading through the Bible verses and seeing what imagery comes to mind, it's makes the bible a more personal experience when I delve into it's mysteries using the mind God's given me :)
